what brush did you use!!?? to get that square rough painted effect i see it a lot in mecha paintings. did you use photoshop???

thats a bad mech. ive always liked the bird walkers better than the others. my favorite though, was the marauder off of the battletech series. then the raptor from mechassault 2 lone wolf. i draw mecha, but i am currently writing a book, and i was actually wondering if i can get your permission to use some of these pictures for the chapter intros, and possibly for the cover. its on my gallery, so let me know when possible.
